Tamarindo B&B

Adult-only B&B set among tranquil, tropical gardens, pools, and palapa roofs, with privacy and relaxed surroundings. Furnished with vibrant local decor alongside luxury accommodations, guests have called Tamarindo their home in Cozumel for over 20 years! This property is scuba diver friendly! The pool is deep enough to do a refresh or check out gear and space to wash equipment. The roof has a beer & winter bar, small lounging pool, and a workspace to enjoy.

Jimena, your host, prepares the most amazing breakfast each morning and the property offers a large, fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own food if you wish. All rooms have air-conditioning, hammocks, private balcony and keyless coded entry.

The Rooms

Suite

The New Suites are poolside and feature large open floor plans that have a sitting area, a large fold-out couch, kitchenette with bar seating. The bathrooms have double sinks and an oversized walk-in shower. The ground floor, poolside option is the Laguna Suite which has a private patio just off the dive pool. The second floor option is the Selva Suite which has a private balcony overlooking the pool and garden area. The Selva Suite also has more natural light in the kitchenette and bathroom.

The Original Suites are much larger than our rooms, and are in the back of the property on the garden side, but still with views of the pool. The Caribe Suite is the ground floor option and it features a private patio near one of our garden fountains. The Caribe Suite floor plan has a bedroom separated from the living room and kitchenette area, as well as the bathroom. The second-floor option is the Tropical Suite which features high vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan that includes all the amenities, as well as a private palapa balcony overlooking the garden fountain area. Both Original Suites have a kitchenette, and two sitting areas - one with a table.

Deluxe

The two Deluxe Rooms in the back of the property are away from the street with garden and pool views, and large bathrooms. The ground-level option is the Caimito Deluxe Room, tucked in the middle of everything, the poolside deck is just steps from your, private patio at the entrance to the room. There are banana and papaya trees, and many other local flowers growing just off the private patio to Caimito. The stairs to the side lead up to the Palomar Deluxe Room on the second floor, which features a big private palapa balcony overlooking the garden and pool area. The Palomar Deluxe Room also features a high ceiling. Both deluxe rooms have a small table and chairs on their patio.

Standard

The standard rooms are on the second level of the main building, near the community kitchen and breakfast terraces.

Shared Dormitory

The shared dormitory has 4 individual beds, large beautiful wood lockers for your belongings, and a shared bathroom. Great for travelers on a budget! $40 USD per night all year round. 

Yoga Classes on Site

Enjoy a 70-minute Yoga Class Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 5:30 in the beautiful loft.
